Who We Are

A Body of Believers
In 2012, the question was raised “Do churches in our area know where the holes are in our community’s services for the homeless and people in need….and do they talk to each other?” The need was identified for the Christian community TO COMMUNICATE BETTER AND WORK TOGETHER TO SERVE OTHERS. A group began meeting and praying about ways the Christian community might come together to serve our community and world. The group named itself Wake Area Mission’s Ministries and “WAMM”, the movement, was born. More recently, the movement has expanded to Durham and Johnston County, covering the Triangle area. We renamed ourselves “TAMM”, or Triangle Area Missions Ministries. TAMM is anyone identifying with Christ who wishes to help fellow believers communicate with each other and work together to serve in Jesus name.
Purpose

Talking and Working Together
Our purpose is to develop and implement a strategy that will help the body of Christ work together to be more effective in ministry; serving more individuals on a deeper level and being more efficient with the resources available.
The Plan

Sharing Our Passions and Partnering Together to Serve in Jesus Name
Compassion Connect
Local Pastors and leaders invite other pastors and leaders to “connect the church” by registering the “passions” God has put on their hearts as He is more than ever calling His Body to talk and work better together in serving to meet those special needs.
