Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) cont’d

What do I have to do if I become a part of CarePoint?

Whatever service you were providing before – just do it someplace other than the park since it’s closing and illegal.  There will still be CarePoint downtown to help folks there, and you  can help identify or use CarePoint locations being found.

Are there levels of TAMM involvement?

Yes, there are.  Because TAMM is a movement, a “facilitating network” the intention is that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) and the interactive and informational website is TAMM and 3 levels of TAMM involvement are found in 3 words:  Cooperation, Coordination, Collaboration.

Cooperation = TAMM LITE – Group keeps doing what they do, keeps own identity, and is willing to cooperate; wants to use the MOU and TAMM’s name to use or find a site, will have he group’s name listed on the website and where serving. Further involvement or identification
with the effort and site use is up to the group.  That’s it.  Please do not complicate it.
Coordination = TAMM REGULAR = Coordination- keep doing what they do but are wanting more involvement with other groups to coordinate activities, willing to host other groups or provide Certificates of Insurance for special events, etc.; use the MOU and TAMM’s name to use or find a site and plan to use and contribute to the website resource kit and content.  “I stay unique but am willing to adjust to plan and coordinate activities with other groups”.

Collaboration = TAMM MAX – Group not only keeps doing what it does but is looking for other participants to work so closely with that identities may merge and both are willing to adjust even sacrifice to become if necessary another unique group or ministry; use the MOU and WAMM’s name to use or find a site and plan to use and contribute to the website resource kit and content, and Lord knows what else….

What about large special events?

Go for it.  The MOU is available but the Certificate of Insurance is up to you.
