Future projects with Nicaragua will be through IRCU.
Earlier CareProjects included an agricultural project raising 58 tons of potatoes selling but mainly distributing them to churches throughout the area willing to set up CarePoints and feed street children from the food provided by the potatoes. In 2018 -2019 at least 47 children came under the watchcare of churches. The children were hungry, drug and alcohol addicted and an intention of the ministry was to give young girls ages 11 and up hope in Jesus and the opportunity to avoid cohabitation with men or older youth, teen pregnancy, prostitution, gang involvement and human trafficking.
